A student barged into my personal classroom where I and my friends had our class

"Are u daft?....can't u knock?" Jay looked up from the novel he was so engrossed in before the tall slim guy who was now standing before me barged in
"Am so sorry guys but i was so anxious to show something to kyle that's why" he explained while Jamie just rolled his eye and continued pressing his phone

"And what is it?" Jay asked
"And it better be worth it" I added with a hiss

"Okay we are here" aunt July said as she drove past some guard at the gigantic gate into the school...she swirled into the car park where other cars were parked
I stared in awe at the beauty of the big building
This is way beyond my thought!
"I guess this place is 100 more times bigger than the gutters you school in before" Sam said and got off the car
"That rude jerk!" His mum cursed and turned to me
"Ignore him okay,he will come around soon trust me" she said with a smile

Trying to ignore the fact that my cousin detest me so much
"Good bye" she waved at me after I have got off the car
I stood in the car park staring at the building
This is garden on earth
It looked like a castle where princesses and princes come to learn and me am just a ......
I should get going now but where will I go?

I watched as students walked in quickly in pairs... Either a guy and girl or maybe two girls

I smiled when I saw the familiar car parked outside our house in one of the slums in the most dirtiest side of Lagos
I didn't have a good night sleep as I was thinking of uncle dan,my dad's junior brother who lives in lekki where most rich people stay
That's what u usually hear from my class mates

"That place is like America in Lagos" johnny the class talkative said in the class one day when he was arguing about something with his friends

I walked quickly into the not furnished one room apartment while some of ky neighbours just stared at me

I walked inside to see my uncle... He was sitted on the only couch in the room while my father in just singlet and wrapper sat down on the work out foam we refer to as bed

But I have learn to live in it

"Good morning sir" I greeted respectfully while my uncle smiled and nodded at me

The smell of his expensive Cologne waft past my nostril as I walked towards my father to give him his snuff

I checked my dressing for the last time before ringing the doorbell to the Denton's mansion , Jacob opened the door and bowed meekly , "i will bring Master Preston to you now , ma'am " Jacob said and left , i dropped my bag on the sofa and looked around , Mr Karl surely had a great taste , the chandelier that hung above me said it all , Preston appeared at the top of the stairs with Jacob  following closely , i gave a full smile to Preston then picked my bag and led him to the dinning room , Jacob showed me my room afterwards , Preston didn't say anything throughout our lesson , he just kept staring at the book but he solved his arithmetics well and wrote well too .
I gave him a little time to rest as i went upstairs to my room , i paused a little at the door of Mr Karl's bedroom before walking to mine , where the heck was his wife , i brought out my phone and dialed my mum , she picked at second ring , her voice was cloudy and she sounded like she was crying .
"Mum??? are you okay???" i asked clutching the phone to my ears that they hurt my temples,she sniffed " i'm okay sweetheart , how's your new job ? " she asked , i sighed and scratched my head "mum , i love it that i will earn so much for just a small job but this he is creepy , i mean , no wife , a weird son that doesn't talk , always expressionless " i said as i placed my photo on my bedside table then turned around to hang my clothes in the closet , my mum chuckled through the phone , " Mia , maybe he is a quiet man and also being a very wealthy man , i'm sure he lives a busy and noisy life outside , is it bad if he has a quiet home?" she asked , i smiled "Of course not Mum , mum i have to go back to my tutoring "   i said placing my perfume with other things i brought in front of the vanity mirror "alright baby ...Bye " she said , and after the line dropped dead , i was still convince that my mother was hiding something from me .

I got up from my bed , i felt bored , the cooks were probably cooking and Preston would be sleeping , Mr Karl was still at work , i  hated the reason why i accepted to be a live-in teacher , i sighed a walked out of my room , pausing briefly again at Mr Karl's room , i felt the urge to push the door knob and enter the room , but i fought the urge and walked away , ten seconds later i found myself retracing my steps and slowly turning the door knob to the room , the room scented like him ,  i walked in and marvelled at how clean and tidy the room was  , i sat on the bed and bounced on it  , laughing a little i stood up and arranged it , i was about leaving when my eyes fell on his closet that was open inside the closet was a photo  of Mr Karl and a woman , blond and lean staring straight at the camera , she looked happy , she wore a white dress while Mr Karl wore a suit , he was smiling widely , like a child that was given candy , "you look really good when you smile sir , please keep smiling " i said to the picture   but where was this woman now , i placed the photo back and retraced my steps out of the room , and outside into the yard , workers were all over , trimming hedges  , lawn mowing and watering plants , then Mr Karl drove in .

I was really bad at apologizing , i slammed my steering wheel as i drove into my house , i noticed the Brunette teacher standing by the flowers , she smiled and greeted but i snared and passed her , then i climbed upstairs to change out of my stuffy stupid suit , next i walked to Preston's room , he sat on his bed solving sums , he look up when i came in and look down back at his book , i patted his shoulder then turned and walked out bumping into the teacher , " welcome sir " she said , i rolled my tongue inside my mouth and shoved my hands in my pockets " will you grow tall if i answer your greetings " i asked , she raised her eyes to look at me , she had really good pair of eyes , big ,round and so sexy , "sir.....I......"She tried explaining but i cut her off , " listen here lady , there are rules in this house and the first is don't touch me or my stuffs , secondly , don't talk to me  " i said ,then i walked off , she stood like a statue before leaving , i went out the terrace and asked Jacob to bring me an orange , Miss bright eyes walked towards me , "sir ....We need to talk " , i waved her off and collected the saucer that held my orange and a knife , i wasn't so sure how to peel an orange but i ended up cutting my hand , blood gushed out and dropped on the white floor , miss bright eyes rushed to me , "Sir ....Are you okay ?" she asked holding my hand to get a better veiw of my cut , i sharply withdrew my hand , " of course , i'm not okay, are you blind , and didn't i say not to touch me "i asked , she shook her head , " that's true sir but let me look at your cut , it could get infected ," she said and ran out , i stood wondering if i should call Jacob or not , she came back shortly with a first aid kit , she held my hand and wiped the blood then rubbed disinfectant and put a bandage , why didn't i stop her from touching me , her touch felt so light , i didn't bother , she raised her eyes and looked at me with her bright eyes that i didn't realise i was staring at her until she said "i'm done sir " , i swallowed and shifted my gaze.

I withdrew my hand angrily , then walked out of the terrace and into my room , my chest threatened to drop because my heart was pounding loudly, why would my heart beat for that teacher , why , i picked the glass cup by my bed and smashed it against the wall , i trashed the room while screaming , i was angry at myself for letting my heart pound , for letting the teacher's eyes fascinate me ,Lauretta would forever remain in my heart , even though i didn't cherish her because of money , i won't let her go. I broke my mirror and threw my shoes about , finally i became weak , i sat down on the floor helplessly and wept like a baby. " Excuse me sir " i looked up and saw miss bright eyes at my door peering around the room , i got up and walked towards her , " what the heck are you doing here, leave " i barked , "sir i came to check on you " she replied meekly , i chuckled a bit then faced her with red eyes , "are you m, guardian, or my wife .....Is something wrong with you , do you derive joy in seeing me , don't you like your job again because i wont hesitate to fire you and your entire life miserable if i ever see your pathetic face near me feigning concern because if there's something you should know , i hate you , now leave my room" i turned my back and walked into the bathroom hoping she would leave before i came out and she left . I sat on my bed and stared at my wrecked room then i rung the tiny machine on my desk , Jacob came in , his hands were at his back ,if he was shocked he didn't show it ,i ordered him to clean my room then i went out to the garden to clear my head , my phone rang after a while , it was my secretary ,
"Speak Lesley" i said not wanting to waste time
"Sir , do you know any miss Mia Warren"she asked sounding indifferent , "Yes , my son's live in teacher , any problem"I asked
"Yes sir, sir the accident victim is miss Marlee Warren , Mia's younger sister and she has to undergo a surgery " Lesley said .
As determined as i was to tell miss bright eyes about her sister , it didn't mean anything to me but it started meaning something when i reached her door , it was half open and i could hear Mia's voice " Diego , i was terribly insulted today and i felt like giving up and going back  , i hate my boss, when he insulted me , i felt like slapping his handsome face and walking out of his mansion with pride but i thought about my family ,that's why i need this job, i love my family so much , i cant see them suffer,my mum ,my dad and above all , my sister whose thoughts keeps me going , the sister i love most , Marlee". I almost fell down in shock as i turned and walked back downstairs in shock.

I hate rich people , i hate the man that made Marlee in this position , she slipped into coma , the dude that hit her stopped visiting the hospital , he just sent us money for the bills , rich people think they own the world i hate them , except Mr Karl , i know his different , he was responsible and doesn't hit people with his car .
Maisy called me hours later , her voice sounding strange ,"Mia , i heard about Marlee "she said , i wondered if it was a question or a statement , i waited for her to say more but she didn't so i said " i feel bad for her " i said , Maisy was silent for some seconds before she said "i'm pregnant Mia , and i want to get married before mum and dad finds out " she said as though she didn't feel bad for Marlee , i got angry and hung up muttering about people spoiling my day .
Diego visited me two days later in Karl's mansion , he bought chocolate and a flower , " don't you think , Marlee deserves your flowers not me " i said without touching them , Diego scratched his head and smiled , "yea you're right " then he laughed as i led the way to my room .

I kissed Preston goodnight and watched him slid his sleepy eyelids shut , i switched off the bedside light and stood up , my son probably hates me , i thought as i came out of his room , leaving the door ajar in case of accidents , it has been a constant practice for me to leave his door open ever since my wife died , Preston became withdrawn , he doesn't smile at me or even anyone , he cant even talk , Preston please forgive me for putting my work first before family , i wasn't at home the night my wife was murdered in cold blood , i was at the office , making money .
I blinked trying to adjust my eyes to the rays of sun that passed through the window , i got up and yawned then rolled out of bed and left my room , Preston stood at the landing waiting , his fingers clutched something  he kept looking at it , " Preston ??" i said , he turned and looked at me , his eyes held no expression ,he handed a write envelope and slowly went upstairs like a ghost , i sighed and opened the envelope , inside it was a letter saying " I QUIT , " it was from my son's home teacher , i flung the paper on the marble floor , why did this crazy woman quit her job , i pay her enough money so what the hell is this ? . I sat down and brought out my cellphone to dial my secretary , she picked in a flash and her voice came through "Hello sir, you are quite late today sir " she said , i clutched my phone and sighed " Lesley , i need you to put out an ad for a live in home teacher for my son , his teacher quited this morning "  " sure sir ......" she said and dropped the call , i got up and looked around before walking upstairs to get ready for work .

My family sat down for breakfast , " pass me the mayonnaise mum" Marlee said , Marlee was the youngest about 22 years , she was my favourite as the eldest and then my other sister Maisy and me Mia  , i passed the jar of mayonnaise to Marlee who was talking nonstop about a new rap queen , her headphones were on her neck , Maisy was silently eating her breakfast not paying much attention to our endless chatter , "Mia , tell your sister to shut up please , do i need to remind her that i'm retired and getting old , i don't need talk about rap or hip hop " my father said flipping his newspaper , "Dad , firstly, You're  just 57  and yes Marlee please shut it " Marlee smiled and  nodded and focused on breakfast , " Mia , did the company call you about the job ? "  my mum asked from the kitchen , i could smell pancakes , "no mum, they didn't give me the job but speaking of jobs , i found this advertisement online about a teaching job, in that business tycoon's house .....Ummmmm what's his name......Oh Mr Karl Denton" i said smiling , "so you are going for the interview ?" my dad asked , i nodded  " good luck dear " he said again .
Immediately breakfast was over , i dressed and left for the interview , arriving at the mansion wasn't easy , i paused just outside the gate to take a spicy look at the mansion , it was fucking huge and classic , i was checked like a bomber at the gate before i was lead to the main house to wait for Mr Karl , thirty minutes later  ,he came downstairs with both hands in his pockets.

" i barked " leave " , tears dropped from her eyes as she knelt to beg me , and when she saw i wasn't willing to budge , she stood up and went towards the door , on her way out , she stooped and waved Preston goodbye , my son did something that surprised me and made me change my mind .

For the past three years i lost Lauretta , Preston became stoned , his face never stretches into a smile but today , he smiled as he stared at the lady i just fired , Mia held the door knob and looked back at Preston before walking out , immediately she shut the door behind her , i turned to Preston .
"Preston??" i said as i approached him , he turned and stared at me with his cold eyes , why are his eyes cold , he smiled for that lady just now why was he sad at me , i sighed and turned away from him .
"Jacob....Call the lady back " i said to the butler nodding towards the door , Jacob bowed slightly and left , thirty seconds later he entered with Mia at his back , for the fact that my son smiled for the first time in three years , this woman is connected to it somehow and i must find out how.
"You can start work tomorrow by 8 am....Goodluck" i said and walked back to my room .
In my room , i opened my closet to pick out a jacket , my eyes fell on my wedding photo with Lauretta , i gingerly picked it up.
"Lauretta.....It's three years now....Our little boy hasn't spoken to me or even smiled at me....I know he's angry but what can i do, Lauretta it was all my fault you were killed, but Lauretta , fate took you away from me , so i cant ever be haply , just like our son , i haven't loved anyone again , i no longer have fun , Lauretta , i no longer smile " i dropped the photo to wipe my tears .

 "how can somebody be so rude yet good looking at the same time " i said to no body in particular , Marlee sat up abruptly , "OMG   .......you have a crush on your boss??" she asked , I threw a pillow at her " shut up Marlee " i said and stood up , what i need now is fun , i brought out my phone and texted my best friend .
"Hey Diego .....Meet me at Atlantic .....Woulda??." and he replied almost immediately " sure Mia  ....See you in thirty minutes " .
I dressed and left the house , Diego was sitted at a corner sipping something , music was blaring in my ears , and every where as dim , i made my way through the dancing crowd .
"Hey Dee" i said and sat down , Diego smiled , "Mia....Why did you ask me to meet you at club Atlantic , i thought you hated this club " he asked as he brushed off his hair "Diego , i have a job now , even though it's just tutoring but the pay is really high " i replied " and i start tomorrow so tonight i want to party " i added , Diego grinned widely as he called a waitress " drinks on me ......I'm so happy for you Mia " i smiled and we sipped our drinks then danced a little .

On my drive to the office , i kept thinking about my child and his life ,he can't live his life being dumb  , i rubbed my jaw trying to focus , a lady was trying to cross the road , she looked drunk , i didn't look twice until she drunkenly bumped into my car and fell, i froze on the spot , sweat covered my face and palm as i held the steering wheel , there was just one thought on my mind as i braced myself for the worse " God ....I hope she's not dead" .

Right now Bella is dressed with a red long gown, Knight had said his taking her out tonight, she's so happy during this one month relationship of theirs , Knight has been the best boyfriend ever, he took her outing alot and to his business parties, infact he had officially announced to his business co workers that Bella was his girlfriend , lots of women envied Bella mostly Knights whores , but she was proud because Knight took her anywhere he goes apart from his office, his family are so happy to hear she's knights girlfriend but they haven't told them Bella was pregnant yet, it was knights decision for it to be kept first cause his been planning to propose to her so he wants to expose it after Bella officially becomes his fiance .
Bella kissed her mother cheek and huged her brother Before she ran out with her heels when josh saw her he laughed Bella smiled.
" Why aint you wearing your heels ? He asked.
" Oh josh will you stop giving me that look,you Know I don't want to keep Knight waiting" she said and got into the passengers seat josh Chuckled got into the car too, he watched as Bella began putting on her shoe and he chuckled more, Bella spank him and he laughed .
" Jerk" she muttered and josh Chuckled earning a glare from her , as he drove off .
" I wonder why Knight will suggest we go out so late , it's so dark " she sighed.
Josh looked at her.
" Its not so dark, it's just late" he said getting another spank from Bella .

They finally arrived at a big hall, and josh parked the car they got down.
" Why are we here ? She asked.

" Wow this place is beautiful" Bella said looking around.
" I will leave you to go now" josh said standing at the middle of the hall Bella turned to josh confused.
" Where are you going and why would you leave me here , and also why isn't anyone here ? She asked looking around , the rest of the place was dark but the stage was light that's were the Instrumentalist are .
" Don't be scared, just go up on the stage and wait there , it's an instruction" he said before bella could talk josh already walked into the darkness and left .
Bella signed and started walking to the stage gently untill she claimed the stage since her heels were high she claimed gently, holding her gown up, when a guy came from the stage to help her up she smiled and thanked him .
Okay now she's on the stage what will happen now? The guy left and a lady walked to her with so many roses, Bella frowned and collected it thanking the lady, what was happening she wonders, she took the card and opened it but nothing was written on it.
Another lady walked to her and handed her an envelope, she frowned and collected it the lady left and she quickly opened the envelope still holding the bouquets in one hand .

The engagement part began , and they danced together while others danced with their partners sam danced with his grandmother.
Later Knight announced Bella is a month and 2 weeks pregnant people rejoiced and danced more after congratulating them , Knight kissed Bella Infront of everyone and they cheered .
3 YEARS LATER
" Mommy , daddy hurry up we will be late for the party " 3 years Jane yelled .
Yes Jane is knight and Bella's daughter, they named her after Knights mother, they got married 2 months after the engagement party.

" Oh common baby , why won't she , I took so much energy in making you scream all the time to get her into the world" Knight said and Bella's eyes widen.
" Knight" she warned and he chuckled.
Jane placed her hand on her waist glaring at her parents.
" So dad, you made mom scream all day just to bring me into the world ? Jane asked and Knight and Bella's eyes widen .
" Hah little girl we should start going to the party " Knight carried her in his arms as Bella Chuckled .
But Jane was still talking on their way and Knight and Bella couldn't help but rolled their eyes .
They arrived at his family house , people were already around , it was their 60th anniversary, and their celebrating.
" Hello granny" Jane called coming down from her father's arms running to hug floren who picked her up .
"Hello baby how are you ? Floren asked kissing her cheek .

Knight smiled at her as he gave her a stool to seat on.
" You look thin Ella , have you really been eating? He asked and Bella ignore, the truth was she hasn't been eating well, crying all day because of him, and even when she found out she was pregnant.

" I was scared because it was only a 10 days contract affair, with no feelings attached, I thought you won't accept it " she said .

Bella touched his face and smiled at him lovingly, they stare into each other's eyes, her mind went back to her pictures in his painting room, so she decided to ask.
"You made so many paintings of me" she said not asking and he smiled .
"Correction, of us" he said she chuckled.
"Yes, I saw it" she said and Knight took her hand in his .
"Bella, you are the most important part of my memory that I want to keep alive, and those pictures I drew are the only thing that makes me feel better " he said and she smiled , she blinked back her tears.
"Am glad " she said.
"Am glad u do" he Replied And he try to kiss her but she moved away he frowned.
" Bella common, are you still mad at me ? He asked and she nodded
Knight rubbed his temple frustrated.
" Just one kiss " he begged she shook her head .
" Bella please" he pout like a child making her laugh
" On one condition" she said .
" Anything baby I will do it " he said .
" Make me a hot homemade lasagna , and a fried chicken curry, with the tomato sauce" Bella said and Knights eyes widen .
How is he going to do that ??? he swallowed
"Oh!...umm... Ok" he said slowly and got up to go pick Ingredients from the cupboard, Bella watched him with wide eyes .
" Oh my God, you will burn down the house "
She said and laughed at Knight who was looking at her with a dark eyes , she knew what his thinking when he looks at her like that .
" I think I have Something better I know how to do than burning the house" he said smirking as he walked towards Bella , she stood from the stool about to run but knight caught her and threw her over his shoulders.
" Put me down you asshole" Bella laughed as Knight took her to the bedroom and you know what happened next .

Bella couldn't believe she was pregnant, she lay on her bed as her hand touched her little stomach, she's pregnant for Knight, she's carrying his child , she couldn't help but cry, what will she do? Should she go and see him and tell him she's pregnant? What if he tells her she trapped him? What if he send her away ? What if something goes wrong? They were so many " IF's" in her head ,too Think she will be able to forget Knight, but she couldn't forget him , she thought her love for him will fade away once she goes away but they only grew stronger.
She sat up on her bed, she's going to be having knights baby, but how will he react to hear she's pregnant? She couldn't help but cry .

"Am I really screwed, how can I get pregnant, what do I do?"she thought uncomfortably.
Her door opened and her grandmother came in, Bella looked up at her as she came closer to seat beside her, Bella wiped her tears .
" My dear , you can't keep crying, it's been three days since you heard of this news , why can't you contact the baby's father ? Susan asked worried.
Only if she knew how she got pregnant, she will understand why she couldn't show her face to Knight.
" Mother I can't " Bella whispered.
" But I thought you love this man,? Why can't you go to him ? She asked and Bella swallowed her shame to tell her grandmother she was a whore to a multi_ Billionaire for 10 days , gosh how will she react ?
" Nothing, but I don't think the father wants the baby " Bella said nothing looking at her grandmother.
"And why is that ?why won't he want his own child ? You never can predict Bella , go and tell him before it's too late " Susan said .
It's already late, he must have found another girl to bed for 10 days , Bella Thought and the thought alone made her sick In her stomach.
She imagine Knight kissing and touching another woman the way he does to her she closed her eyes tightly, it's hurting her already .
" Bella , even if that young man doesn't come to you , then go to him " Susan said touching Bella's arm.
" Grandma you don't understand, I can't go to him anymore, what happened between us was a 10 days contract" Bella said angrily making Susan confused but her voice was low.
" What do you mean 10 days contract? Susan asked Bella knew she has to tell her grandmother.
" Mother please don't hate me ,I only did it because i wanted to pay for your treatment and make sure sam graduate from highschool" Bella said in tears , Susan was still confused.
" Just what are you saying, I don't understand" Susan said .
Bella went down on her knees , she has to beg her as she's saying it .
" Mother , I did something very terrible believe me I feel horrible about it myself" Bella said as she cried.
" Bella tell me what you did " Susan said getting pissed already.

", What?? 3 million dollars, wait ... does that mean you lied to me that this house we are in ....was not giving to you ordinary because you did some great job but because you hard sex with a stranger ? Bella Nodded .
Susan couldn't believe what she was hearing, she stare at Bella .
"Asshh....." Susan face palmed herself.
" Mother am so sorry , I never wanted this to happen,i had no choice" Bella begged Susan stare at Bella for a while .

Bella Nodded .
" Then go back to him " Susan said .
" Mother I can't , it was said that after the 10 days no more contacting each other " she said .
" Well that rule will have to break now because your carrying his child and he needs to Know, your going to him Bella , if you like it or not , stand up and go " Susan said with a serious tone, Bella had never seen such behavior from her grandmother before.
" What if he doesn't want the child mother ? Bella cried .
" Then come back home and forget him " Susan said ..." We will take care of the child ourselves, but I just want you to go see him and tell him, he deserves to know" susan said and Bella nodded.
Knight was in his painting room finishing the drawing of Bella on his bill board, yes his been working on it right before the day Bella walked in, that was the one she almost opened before he walked in on her , in the drawing she was smiling and Knight couldn't help but stare into her eyes .
He has about three drawings of her , and the forth one was of them both kissing each other under the moon light that was second to the last day Bella left when they went to have fun.
He traced his hand on the drawing, his planning to give her a surprise visit soon, and then he will try to win her , he would had gone three days ago , but his business was really making some progress and his father Jacob needed alot of his help , so he had to postpone seeing Bella to tomorrow.
Although sometimes he will drive to the front of the house he gave them, just to look at Bella's face from the balcony then he goes away , he did that yesterday and almost went in, he saw Bella at the balcony looking up in the sky , and she was caressing her stomach, Knight couldn't help but wonder why she was doing that , he saw her brother come to tell her something and she went back inside ,he got a phone call from the company he signed and drove away away .
He was so busy in his thoughts that he didn't hear the door open.
" Knight"
He heard a familiar voice and he quickly turned to see Bella standing there looking at him , he stood up from the stool he sat and they stare at each other .
Knight couldn't believe she was really here with him, while Bella's eyes roam her paintings on the wall and on the bill board.
Knight added her to his memory?
"Bella" Knight whispered in surprised, he was surprised to see her , she really come back to him? She did.he smiled.
And before bella could calculate what was happening, Knight was already in her front grabbed her and was kissing her.
